 How To Play Baccarat

You begin a baccarat game by placing a bet on either Player, Banker Or Tie. Then two   hands are dealt, one for the player and one for the banker. Quite simple the hand that   is close to 9 wins. However there are instances where a third card is dealt, we cover   those hands further on in this guide.

  Card Values in Baccarat
All picture cards ( J,Q,K ) and tens are worth zero, Aces are worth 1 and the remaining   cards are worth their face value. If the value of the cards dealt is over 10 then 10 is   subtracted from the total.

Example : The follwing cards are dealt, 4 & 8. The total is 12 so the hand Value is  2

  The "Third Card Rule"
Once the initial two cards have been dealt for the dealer and the player the "Third   Card Rule" comes into effect. You as the player have no decision to make as the   cards are dealt according to the follwing rules. No hand get more than 3 cards.

When the Player and Banker hands equal the same total, the hand is declared a Tie.   If the value of the cards in either the Player's Hand or the Banker's Hand is an 8 or a 9   (a "natural") after receiving their initial two cards then no more cards shall be dealt to   either hand. If the value of the cards in the Banker's hand on the first two cards is 0 to   7 inclusive, the Player's hand shall draw in accordance with the "Third Card Rules"

If the players hand equals 0 to 5 another card is dealt, if the had equals 6 to 7 no   addittional card is dealt, if the hand equale 8 to 9 both hands stand.

Once the players hand is finished according to the above rules the bankers hand is   finalised. If the bankers hand equals 0 to 2 the banker gets an adittional card, if the   bankers hand equals 3 to 6 the players third card determines the whether the banker   draws or stands and if the dealer has 7 the dealer stands.

When the bankers hand equals between 3 and 6
If the banker has 3 : Banker draws if player has 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 9
If the banker has 4 : Banker draws if player has 2,3,4,5,6 and 7
If the banker has 5 : Banker draws if player has 4,5,6 and 7
If the banker has 6 : Banker draws if player has 6 and 7
If the banker has 7 : Banker stands
If the banker has 8 or 9 : Banker stands

  Baccart Payoffs
A bet placed on banker pays off 1 to 1
A bet placed on player pays off 1 to 1
A bet placed on Tie pays off 8 to 1
