How To Play Three Card Poker

Three card poker is a very simple game. The dealer gets three cards face down and   the player gets three cards. The aim is to get a better poker hand than the dealer.   Because there are less ways to make a three card straight they are ranked higher   than a flush in the game of 3 card poker.

You have several betting options on three card poker. An ante bet which works the   same way as a poker ante and the Pair Plus bet which we cover below. The ante is   you initial bet. If you like your cards you can hit play and your bet is doubled.

You do not have to bet on both the Pair Plus and the Ante every time you play. You can   choose one or the other or if you wish play both. The Pair Plus bet is taking the   gamble that you will be dealt a pair or better.

The pay offs for the Pair Plus bet are as follows.  A pair pays 1 to 1. Flush pays 4 to 1.    Straight 6 to 1. Three of a kind 30 to 1 and a  Straight Flush pays the 40 to 1.

There is also a bonus offered for your ante bet if you hit one of the following hands. A   straight, three of a kind or a straight flush.

Similar to Caribbean Stud poker the dealer must qualify for the had to be contested.   The dealer needs Queen high to qualify. If the dealer does not have this then the   player automatically gets double their ante unless they folded. If the dealer qualifies   and you win you are paid out 4 to 1.
